Please note that demurrage charges vary depending on vehicle size or transport method.

Free loading and unloading time is included with every booking. This free time begins from the moment the driver arrives on site and is ready to load or unload.

If loading or unloading exceeds the included free time, Sussex Freight Services reserves the right to apply a demurrage fee. This is charged per hour or part thereof for any additional waiting time beyond the allocated free time period, in accordance with Section 16 of the Road Haulage Association Conditions of Carriage 2020.
